What Is IVF?

In vitro fertilization (IVF) stands as the predominant form of assisted reproductive technology (ART). This technique is designed to circumvent specific infertility issues, such as minor sperm irregularities in men and abnormalities in women’s fallopian tubes or ovulation process.

During the IVF procedure, eggs are extracted through surgery and subsequently fertilized in a lab setting using sperm from a partner or a donor. Post egg collection, IVF offers a regulated environment, elevating the chances of successful egg fertilization. After allowing the fertilized egg, or embryo, to develop for a span of 3-5 days, it’s then meticulously implanted into the woman’s uterus.

Embryos Grown In Our State-Of-The-Art Lab

In our embryology lab, we meticulously observe the fertilization process under a microscope over a span of five days. During this time, the successfully fertilized eggs evolve into embryos. Our skilled team of embryologists then assesses the quality of these embryos to decide which ones are suitable for transfer, freezing, or potentially extended cultivation and growth.
